- Added academia skill: "Knowledge of the Planes". BP Cost 2. Relevant Ability: INT. Mastery Die: d6. Course cost: 350 gp. Prereq: no. Course difficulty +10%.
- General knowledge of the Planes and related topics. You know the characteristics of the major Planes. Allows you to identify an unknown plane when you are on it, or based on someone's description.
- Added academia skill: "Portal Sense". BP Cost 2. Relevant Ability: (INT+WIS)/2. Mastery Die: d6. Course cost: 375 gp. Prereq: Knowledge of the Planes. Course difficulty +15%.
- Knowledge and skills about detecting portals. You can actively search for a portal in an area or possibly happen upon the signs of a portal passively.

- MVP awards 100xp per average party level.
