Duke Ulfius of Silchester is one of King Uther Pendragon's most trusted knights and advisors, a longtime supporter of the King of Logres. Ulfius is well-respected for his diplomatic skills, his ability to assess situations and turn them to his own favor, and his skill at leading troops in battle. Ulfius is different from many other warlords of the realm in that he seems to have a preternatural sense of what is happening on the battlefield outside of his own vision, allowing him to calculate tactics more readily even while directly involved in combat.

Personality
Duke Ulfius is cool, canny, and maybe even conniving. He is the type to listen carefully before deciding who to back in an argument, and usually comes out on top as a result. Once you have proven your worth to Ulfius, he is a steadfast ally.

Important Deeds of Note
Duke Ulfius was part of the envoy to Lindsey in 487, along with Earl Roderick (for whom he has an intense, and mutual, dislike), King Uther, and the Knights of the Sword. Ulfius stood by Uther, ready to sack Lincoln, when Duke Corneus was not at home upon their arrival. Fortunately, Earl Roderick managed to convince Uther to delay taking the city until the Knights of the Sword were able to locate Corneus and bring him home safely. Ulfius considered this another in a long line of insults from the lower-ranking Roderick, as he had counseled Uther to attack anyway.
