== Early Life ==
Sir Clegis was born at Baverstock, in Salisbury, to his father ? and his mother ?. He was squired in 479 and trained by [[Sir Elad of Vagon]]. He earned his knighthood in 485 after he and his companions dealt successfully with a wild bear which had been terrorizing a village, and some local bandits who tried to waylay the group. The adventure proved formative, and the band eventually took the name [[LPen:Characters#The_Ursine_Brotherhood|The Ursine Brotherhood]] because of it.
