*Nagara River - North-south river, flows south. Choppy rapids to the south (in the forest) prevent regular travel south.
*Yamagata - Town northeast of the Tamara, on the Nagara river. It has the only well-maintained bridge in the area. Trade (to the north) and (some) fishing.
*Taiheiyo Forest - Forest in the south-central area of the region. It is filled with old trees and spirits, and is considered sacred to the locals.
