Sir Brastias is the head of Uther's bodyguards, and his most loyal and trusted man by far. Brastias has dedicated his life to serving the king, and more than once has been willing to lay down his life to protect Uther. It is only by virtue of his skill in combat, strength of body, and sheer toughness that Brastias has managed to live a long life so far.
Personality
Sir Brastias is a very serious fellow, and extremely suspicious by nature. Very few people have ever seen him smile, and he rarely socializes. He has been described as the most intense knight in the Kingdom of Logres on many occasions.
Important Deeds of Note
Sir Brastias has personally killed five separate assassins, stopped three poisoning attempts, and is rumored to have sucked the venom of a snake from Uther's ankle.
In 492, Sir Brastias fought the Ursine Brotherhood, believing that they were colluding with Merlin, who had stolen Uther's child that very same day. He spoke against them at their trial for treason and attempted to have them put to death.
In 495, Sir Brastias fought in the battle of St. Albans. Grievously wounded in the fighting, Brastias was still recovering in the infirmary when Saxon treachery murdered most of the nobility of England at the infamous feast of St. Albans. Brastias is a knight without a lord now, and has been traveling as a sellsword since recovering.
