Early Life
Jaxson was the younger son of Queen Tamia and Jamvalor of Ezethae. His twin brother, Jamenas, was born a mere six minutes earlier and was thus destined to be the heir to the throne. It is of much debate amongst the gossips of his homeland whether nature or nurture led Jaxson to be such an ill-fit for the royal house. Their father instantly preferred Jamenas, spending all his time teaching the elder twin the ways of the woods, wisdom of the elven peoples, and deep secrets that Jaxson will never learn. Jaxson was largely left to his own devices as a result, though he was always extremely close with his mother.
Over the years, it became clear that father and brother both were distant and aloof in comparison, and Jaxson yearned to find a purpose all his own. At home, he was at best a potential replacement who could never equal his brother's integrity and distinction. While Jamenas was learning to rule and govern, Jaxson was learning how best to remove the clothes from young nobles. Jaxson learned to play bawdy songs on the lute while Jamenas studied warfare and diplomacy. Eventually, Jaxson had enough and, much to his mother's sorrow, made his way out of the castle and into the wildlands beyond. Jaxson's father mourned more for the equipment and money found missing from the treasury than from the absence of his prodigal son.
