Old Garr of Imber was a British Christian priest who assisted the Ursine Brotherhood in the bear hunt of 485, shortly before they were knighted by Earl Roderick of Salisbury. Old Garr was a kind, elderly man who was almost entirely illiterate, having memorized some important passages which he used in sermons. He befriended the player characters and even assisted them by lending his tracking skills and medical care to the young squires. In particular, Old Garr became quite close to Sir Ronan the Abuser and the two of them shared a correspondence until Garr's death in 488. That same year, Sir Botheric and Sir Archade visited the old priest's grave to pay respects in their quest to find Archade's son.
