Sir Botheric the Potent (Born 464) is a knight of Salisbury, residing at Tisbury with his wife, the Lady Tryamour, and his four children. He is well renowned for his valor, vigor, and temperance. He was squired in 479, knighted in 485, and wed in 487.

He returned to Salisbury, was squired in 479 and trained by Sir Elad of Vagon. The adventure proved formative, and the band eventually took the name The Ursine Brotherhood because of it.
Knighthood
After being knighted in 485, Sir Botheric took control of his family estate at Tisbury and proved himself a capable administrator. Development and fortification of the estate has been near-constant, while still maintaining the love and admiration of his resident peasants.
In many battles, Sir Botheric has shown his skill with the lance and sword.
From 485 to 487, Cyril of Figgus was his squire. Starting in 488, Wesley is his squire.
