Joran is a wizard and Sensate who devotes his life to researching portals and related topics. He has been a fixture among the academically inclined in the Society of Sensations for many, many years.
He recently tasked two Namer Sensates, [[Hikari]] and [[Sigil#NPCs|Larissa Karras]], with assisting him with field research. As a result, they stumbled into an unknown, wandering portal to a material plane known as Datha. Joran is now working on finding a way to return the Dathans to their home plane. He is known to speak several languages, including Axiomatic, the lawful language of the Modrons. Recently [[Marby Fizzlesprocket]] has begun studying magic and the Planes under his tutelage.
