Sir Archade the Publican (Born 464) is a knight of Salisbury, residing at Laverstock with his wife, the Lady Indeg, and his (?) children. He is well known for his hospitality, pleasant disposition, and lustful nature. He was squired in 479, knighted in 485, and wed in 490.
Early Life
Sir Archade was born at Laverstock, in Salisbury, to his father ? and his mother ??. He was squired in 479 and trained by Sir Elad of Vagon. He earned his knighthood in 485 after he and his companions dealt successfully with a wild bear which had been terrorizing a village, and some local bandits who tried to waylay the group. The adventure proved formative, and the band eventually took the name The Ursine Brotherhood because of it.
Knighthood
After being knighted in 485, Sir Archade took ownership of Laverstock Manor, and has been utilizing his ancestral home to host lavish parties for the knights and ladies of Salisbury. In one infamous incident, Sir Bar began a dispute with another guest, Sir Gerald ap Gergich, breaking the laws of hospitality and throwing Archade into a frenzy. After a short but memorable duel, Sir Bar was slain and Archade himself ran off into the woods, having stripped off his clothes as madness overtook him. After a year of living as a hermit, eating bugs and drinking the juice of psychotropic berries to sustain himself, Archade found his way to sanity once more.
