Supreme strength and endurance to boot, he is as ugly as he is strong. Born with a grotesque facial scar stretching from mid forehead and twisting down between his eye, under his nose and ending at the corner of his mouth, even an axe straight to the face would likely do less damage. Despite the drawbacks of his appearance, he is somewhat intelligent for a half-orc and can hold is own in most conversations provided the lights are off. At the tender age of 8, the actions of his father, [[Torghash]], resulted not only in the fall of his family's honor, position and well-being, but with Grodd and several of his siblings being taken into slavery. For another 8 years, Grodd toiled as the apprentice blacksmith and lifter of all things heavy for the self-anointed [[King Larke Ansaun]]. A few months prior to the beginning of this adventure, Grodd fled the "Kingdom" and managed to board a ship bound to ~~the far West~~ where he soon was recruited by Jaxson to take part in his shenanigans as a plant and of course, the muscle.
