* Court was held at Sarum once again, and the festivities (such as they were) were intruded upon by two Saxon princes, from both Essex and Wessex.
* Countess Ellen consulted with the Knights of the Sword and a plan was hatched to try and avoid paying dues to the Saxons for the year.
* Dame Runa challenged the Saxons to a tournament of skills, 3 challengers from each group.
* Duke Ulfius revealed that he had pledged allegiance to Sussex.

==== The Tournament ====
* Dame Eithne worked as a coach of sorts, helping the Salisbury knights to strategize.
* Dame Runa, Sir Oswulf, and Sir Jaradan all participated.
* Oswulf was defeated by the Giant of Wessex, a man a full head taller than anyone else attending and too large to fit on a horse.
* Dame Runa defeated the giant and won the tournament for Salisbury, saving the county from having to pay dues to any Saxons for the year.
