* Following court, the Knights of the Sword went to hunt the mercenaries that had been plaguing the kingdom. The mercenaries were supposedly led by a group of Roman soldiers.
* Upon locating the brigands, a battle ensued. It was discovered that the leader of the group was none other than [[Syagrius]], the former Praetor that [[Madoc]] had betrayed.
* Sir [[Oswulf]] fought the Praetor in single combat, and laid him low. Afterwards, the Praetor was given as a prisoner to [[Uther]] and his court.

* Unbeknownst to the Knights, Queen [[Ygraine]] made a trip to Lothian in order to speak with her daughter, [[Morgawse]], the wife of King [[Lot]] of Lothian.

* This action prevented the Northern Kings from allying with the Saxon hordes.
