In 490, Octa and Eosa both waged war against King Uther Pendragon, having successfully beaten King [[Heraut]] of Malahaut. The pair wished to steal Excalibur for themselves, as Octa believed his cousin Eosa deserved a magical weapon as well. The pair were defeated, their army routed, and Octa himself was captured by the Knights of the Sword at the Battle of Lincoln.
