'''Empok Nor''' is an abandoned space station in the Trivas system. Located 3 light year from [[Bajor]], it is something of a sister station to [[Deep Space Nine]]. Originally built in 2346, its main purpose was to serve as a shipping depot, mining refinery, and overflow resupply center for troops coming to and from the Bajoran system. In 2371, the Cardassian Union abandoned the station due to a treaty with the Federation, and the inflating costs of keeping it open paired with the shutdown of the Bajoran mining operations. Since that time, the station has remained dormant, though the Federation suspects that the Cardassians likely planted a multitude of booby traps on the station to prevent it from being occupied again. As a result, it has sat empty for several months now and is likely to remain as such.
