=== Silvermist ===
A gnomish town in the Silver Creek Woods. In the center of town lies the Silvermist Magical Academy, and the rest of the town circles it like a fairy ring. The academy is housed in the great stump of an enormous tree, preserved and enhanced by magic.
The Silver Creek that runs from the mountains to the west through to the Mirthal River is the source of the name of both the forest and the town. Once those mountains were mined for their silver, but the mines have since run dry.
