King Nanteleod of Escavalon is a brave and vigorous Cymric king who wishes to drive the Saxons out of Britain and become High King. He is temperate and suspicious, honorable and hospitable, and has always been loyal to his allies and fair to his people.
Personality
Nanteleod is a fair and honorable king, and has a rare gift for identifying political trickery. Nanteleod is widely known as the wisest king in all of Britain, one of the greatest orators in the land, and certainly the most canny monarch. He is physically weak and small, but has great skill with weapons and a nearly unmatched command of the battlefield which has served him well.
Important Deeds of Note
In 491, King Nanteleod of Escavalon assisted King Uther Pendragon at the Battle of Terrabil against Duke Gorlois of Cornwall. His vassal, Sir Alain de Carlion, befriended the The Ursine Order.
In 492, Nanteleod attended the weddings of King Lot of Lothian and King Nentres of Garloth.
In 494, the Ursine Order was sent to act as messengers to the King of Estregales. On their way, they were guests of King Nanteleod who used the opportunity to gain information on Uther's health and state of mind.
In 495, Nanteleod sent troops to assist Uther at the Battle of St. Albans, though the king himself stayed behind at Escavalon to deal with an uprising of Irish savages from nearby Estregales.
