Elad
Dame Elad (Born 434) is a banneret knight and vassal of Earl Roderick of Salisbury. She is the Marshall of Salisbury County, the Castellan of Vagon and steward of Warminster. Her primary duties are to rally the forces of Earl Roderick and direct them towards battle, and to train young squires to one day wield blades as knights themselves.

Personality
Dame Elad is gruff, and is not known for mincing words. She does not speak in poetry, but is known for having a biting wit when called upon. Her temper is well-known, and even though she has lost a step to her advancing years, she still shows flashes of the fire within when she is angered.
Important Deeds of Note
In late 484, Dame Elad sent Runa, Eithne, and Alaric on a quest to the village of Imber, there to hunt and kill a man-eating bear. The bear was revealed to be a fae creature, exiled from the Seelie Court and trapped in the ursine form.
In 485, Dame Elad vouched for the three squires and recommended them to be knighted by Earl Roderick.
