Trelnok

Gul Trelnok is a Cardassian Gul, and the commanding officer of the CDS Khelram, a Galor-class starship in the 24th Century. Relatively young for a Gul, he comes from a patrician family. He joined the military as he was a third son, seeking to make himself more viable for a larger inheritance. He is extremely ambitious, and Federation intelligence suggests that other members of the Cardassian military consider him untrustworthy, and he has shown a particular willingness to throw the lives of his crewmembers away in order to protect himself.
