Liamed Duzan was born and raised on the El-Aurian homeworld. She was trained in the ways of her people as a Listener and her parents were involved in politics with both parents being part of the elected government. Liamed grew tired of the settled life though and looked to the stars and the tradition of travel her people was known for and so one day she decided to leave home to see what the galaxy had to offer. She eventually joined a deep space exploration crew heading to a mostly unknown part of the galaxy and this led her to Earth. She was fascinated by humans and their quick adaptability and their sense of curiosity and exploration. This led her to depart from her fellow travelers to further explore this culture and society that was just being introduced into galactic civilzation. She joined their Starfleet Academy posing as a human where she studied medicine with a specialty in Counseling and took for minors Astrophysics and Emergency Medicine. After graduating she received her first posting on the USS Erebus.

Liamed Duzan is posted onboard the USS Amphitrite and has been promoted to Lt. Commander. She has been with Starfleet for a century now and her true origin is long since known as El-Aurian. She has enjoyed a lucrative career as part of Starfleet and has been studying longevity in regards to humans whose biology is so similar to her own, yet whose lifespan is so limited. She is interested to see if there is a way to manipulate this to increase human lifespans. Her main role is still as Ship's Counselor though and she is by this point very familiar with humanity and the types of problems they face. She is also considering going on a visit to her homeworld not yet knowing about the Borg attack on her people.
24th Century
Liamed Duzan is well over 280 years old now and has acquired many lifetimes of experience in the eyes of humanity. She is assigned to the USS Abyssinia with a rank of Commander and is second officer of the ship. She is seen as wise by her peers and has more experience then the rest of the bridge crew combined. She has also become somewhat jaded and is a harder person then she was in the past. The loss of her homeworld to the borg and the realization that she will never see her parents or even many of her race as they slowly die out across the Galaxy has given her a more melancholy view on life.
