Sir Ronan the Abuser (Born 464) is a knight of Salisbury, residing at Dinton with his wife, the Lady Adwen, and her children. He is well known for his skill at the harp, knowledge of courtly affairs, and cheerful, friendly demeanor. He was squired in 479, knighted in 485, and wed in 487.
Early Life
Sir Ronan was born at Dinton, in Salisbury, to his father ? and his mother ?. He was squired in 479 and trained by Sir Elad of Vagon. He earned his knighthood in 485 after he and his companions dealt successfully with a wild bear which had been terrorizing a village, and some local bandits who tried to waylay the group. The adventure proved formative, and the band eventually took the name The Ursine Brotherhood because of it.
Knighthood
After being knighted in 485, Sir Ronan had some difficulty in the stewardship of his manor, though his peasants are known to say that, "At least the poor dear is trying..."
In his many battles, Sir Ronan has been shown to keep a level head.
