The Bautista Colonists are a group of Terran colonists living in New San Juan, a mysterious colony 25 light years from Earth that is not in any Starfleet records. The two oldest inhabitants are Edward Cole, the colony's governor, and Xander Johnson, a somewhat humorous man who refers to himself as "Mr. Vice President". There are about 83 inhabitants of the colony, most ranging in age between 5 and 35.
