Dagon

Key Information

Dagon is a gas giant in the Fomalhaut system, and was one of the first extraterrestrial planets that was discovered by Earth in 2008. It orbits from a fairly wide orbit, in a part of the system where it would normally be very difficult for a massive planet to form. This suggests that it may have been pushed to the edges by another body in the inner system, but no such body seems to exist.
