| 490 || Played that damned sword song again at court. Went to Lindsay for war against the Saxons. Sir Oswulf knighted and joins the team. Much glory was had! Fought Octa personally. Gave his weapon Svartleggja to Uther for some reason. Befriended [[Madoc]] after the feast when I found him drunk alone. Witnessed Gorlois and Ygraine GTFO away from that lech Uther. The magical blizzard does not bode well for the coming year. Sister's younger baby passed.

| 491 || A dark and eventful year. A cousin was kidnapped. My friends dueled a stuck up xenophobic knight Lycus while I drank mead and watched with Madoc. Rode out with the crew to rescue our cousins from a jerkass knight in the next county over. Humiliated them which means surely that is the last we'll see of them. Sent to battle of Terrabil with [[Madoc]]. Madoc dies. I am sad. As he died he gave me a map and made me swear "not to let him put a crown on her". I found his secret wife and child and took them into my household. Had to play the cursed Ballad of Sword Lake ''yet again''.
