Sir Botheric the Potent (Born 464) is a knight of Salisbury, residing at Tisbury with his wife, the Lady Tryamour, and his four children. He is well known for his valor, vigor, and temperance. He was squired in 479, knighted in 485, and wed in 487.
Early Life
Sir Botheric was born at Tisbury, in Salisbury to Alaric and his loving wife. At a young age Sir Botheric was sent away to Tolosa, the family's ancestral home, to be educated in the traditional Occitanian ways. He returned to Salisbury, was squired in 479 and trained by Sir Elad of Vagon. He earned his knighthood in 485 after he and his companions dealt successfully with a wild bear which had been terrorizing a village, and some local bandits who tried to waylay the group. The adventure proved formative, and the band eventually took the name The Ursine Brotherhood because of it.
