# Inserting an image on a page.
* To upload a file, click the "Upload file" link in the "Tools" menu on the left hand side of the page, select a file from your computer and give it a descriptive name (if it's a picture of your character Alice, name it "Alice.jpg" or something similar). Click the "Upload file" button and you're done!
* To insert an image into your page, edit your page and you can either use the visual editor or type wiki markup yourself.
